Cass is a film and television producer, writer, artist, content creator, and creative director. She has ten years of creative experience and five years of professional experience in the media industry.
Cass won her first film award in 4th grade for the best overall animated film at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi, where she discovered her passion for the craft. Every summer she attended film programs to increase her knowledge and abilities, these programs include: University of Texas Radio, TV, and Film Camp, Austin Film Festival Camp, University of Houston Wonderworks Film Program, and Yale University’s EXPLO Film Concentration.
Cass graduated from Howard University with a BA in film and television production and a minor in graphic design. During her time at Howard University she contributed to multiple media endeavors and received various accolades.
Her work can be seen in the short film “We Rise – I Rise” a Coca Cola and McDonald’s Production in partnership with the 2016 Essence Festival. In 2017, she worked as associate producer for Skycastle Productions and LXTV, an NBC Universal Company. In 2018/19, she wrote and produced the web series Top 5, which has been selected for numerous festivals, was nominated for Best Web Series in the National Black Film Festival, and won the Remi-Award in the Houston World-Fest Film Festival.
Cass currently runs her production company, Cass Productions, and a youtube channel specializing in teaching others how to create films, content, and brand themselves.
